Ginger Tea

winter everybody loves to enjoy a classy Ginger Tea. But do you that Ginger tea
not only tastes good but also helps in treating common cold & cough.
The
Ginger tea helps in drying running and dripping nose, thus expelling phlegm
from the respiratory tract. Among various health benefits of ginger, it is
known to soothe common cold and speeds up the recovery process.
And
same thing with honey to treat a cough, mix 2 teaspoons with warm water or an
herbal tea. Take this twice a day. But remember to do not give honey to
children under 1 year of age.
A wet cough, which is one that produces mucus or phlegm, may improve with steam.
After
taking a hot bath, stay in this steam for a few minutes until symptoms subside.
And Drink a glass of water afterward to cool down and prevent dehydration.
Or
you can use a bowl of hot water and Lean over the bowl and with a towel over
the head. Inhale the vapors for 5 minutes. If the steam feels hot on the skin,
discontinue until the skin cools down.
Extract
the ginger juice and add crush tulsi leaves to it and add honey. Consume it to
get relief from a cough.

you are having cold and cough, staying hydrated is important during the period.
Taking liquids (not cold) may soften your cold and cough and also sneezing.
Here are few hot
beverages that may good for you:

Warm Fruit Juices
The simplest remedy and the most
effective for sore throat and wet cough is Salt-Water Gargle. Salt water
reduces mucus and phlegm quickly.
Take half a teaspoon of salt into
a glass of warm water and gargle with this mixture. Gargle with salt water
several times each day until the cough improves.
Please do not prefer this remedy
to children as they are not ready to gargle it and they may swallow it which
can be dangerous
Take a damp cloth and heat it for
30 seconds in a microwave. Test the temperature first to make sure it's right
for you.
Brandy helps to keep your chest
warm as it increases body’s temperature helps in cough. Just a teaspoon of
brandy mixed with few drops of honey improves cough and common cold.
